Why Water-based Ink is Used in Flexo Printing Machine

Water-based ink, which does not contain volatile organic solvents, greatly reduces VOC (organic volatiles, the same below), thus reducing air pollution, improving the environment of printing operators, and conducive to the health of workers. It can completely eliminate some toxic and harmful substances in solvent-based ink, eliminate the harm to human body and the pollution of packaged goods, and improve the overall environmental quality. It is especially suitable for packaging and printing products with strict hygienic conditions such as tobacco, alcohol, food, beverage, medicine, children's toys and so on. In addition, it can not only reduce the fire hazards and hidden dangers caused by static electricity and flammable solvents, but also reduce the toxicity of printing surface residues, and it is convenient to clean printing equipment.

At present, there are three types of resin printing ink commonly used at home and abroad: solvent-based ink, water-based ink and ultraviolet light curing (UV) ink. Water-based ink (or water-based ink) is mainly suitable for corrugated paper, packaging paper and newspaper printing with absorption.

As far as the main components of resin printing ink are concerned, they are all composed of colorants, resins, solvents and auxiliaries. 5. Good printing quality. Choosing the short-path inking system of the screen roller can not only simplify the inking system structure, but also accomplish the quantitative control of the film thickness. The breakthrough of high-performance photosensitive resin plate technology greatly improves the resolution of printing plate and the reproducibility of dots (up to 1-95%). Flexographic printing can complete 300 lines/in multi-color hierarchical printing, printing effect is very good.
